SwissKits highly recommends the use of a non-skid, rubber type underlay to be used underneath pads installed on smooth or slippery surfaces such as painted (smooth) concrete, damaged epoxy or tile to prevent the pad from shifting or sliding.
This is especially important for smaller pads such as door mats or entryway mats.
This rubber type underlay is available from Garagefloorpads.com, or similar products such as Anti-Slip pads may be purchased from most large retail chains or "big box" stores.
